Wormhole Relay lets people in the same room exchange text, images and files without creating an account. Treat the room link or code as an invitation: anyone who has it can join an unlocked room and view its unexpired contents.
In free temporary rooms, messages and file information are held in server memory. Uploaded files are temporarily stored on the server's disk. Content is not end-to-end encrypted; the hosting operator can technically access it. HTTPS protects transport to the website.
Free rooms report their current retention window. The default is up to 24 hours per item; expired items cannot be downloaded. Disk deletion runs periodically, so physical cleanup can happen later. Free-room content can disappear earlier after a service restart or when message limits are reached. This is a transfer tool, not a backup service. Paid-space retention, when available, is described below.
Your nickname and language preference may be stored in your browser. The application does not include advertising or third-party analytics. The hosting provider and web server may process IP addresses and access logs to operate the service; do not put sensitive information in nicknames or room codes.
Room pages and API responses request that search engines do not index them. This is separate from access control. Download access requires an active room session.

浏览器可能保存昵称和语言偏好。应用未加入广告或第三方统计工具；服务器及托管服务商可能为运行服务处理 IP 地址和访问日志。请勿在昵称或房间码中填写敏感信息。
房间页面和接口会要求搜索引擎不要收录，但这不能代替访问权限检查。下载文件需要有效的房间会话。
A free account stores a list of room codes and labels on our server so you can restore that list on another device. Saving a room does not preserve its contents or change its expiry. Accounts do not require an email address or phone number. A randomly generated recovery code is shown once and only its cryptographic hash is stored. Anyone who knows this code can sign in. There is no email reset if it is lost.
A secure, HTTP-only session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. Signing out revokes the current device session. You can remove saved spaces individually. Account deletion removes the account, its sessions and saved list, but does not delete shared room contents or payment records. Deletion is unavailable while a paid space is active or an order or refund still needs to be resolved; contact us to resolve these items first. Account data remains until you remove it or delete your account. Infrastructure backups may retain earlier copies until they are rotated.
Installing the web app is optional. Its service worker may cache public icons, program assets and a generic offline page on your device. It does not cache room contents, API responses, downloads, account pages or recovery codes. Transfers require an internet connection.

Payments are not open in this release. The following describes the implemented paid-space and payment handling for when approved payment channels become available; an unavailable channel cannot accept payment.
Paid spaces store messages, file information, ownership, capacity and expiry in a server database, and uploaded files on server disk, so their contents can survive a normal service restart. The selected plan determines the space's retention window; adding content does not restart that window. A long-term plan has no preset expiry while the service and entitlement remain active; it is not a guarantee against data loss. Expiry, confirmed full refunds and moderation decisions may end access. Content cleanup runs separately and may take longer than access removal. Keep your own copy of important files. Paid content is not end-to-end encrypted either.
For checkout and fulfilment, we store the account and space reference, plan, payment provider, order and transaction identifiers, amount, currency, status, timestamps and any refund identifiers and reason. These records support delivery, reconciliation and refund handling. They are stored separately from your saved-room list and are not automatically erased by account deletion. This release has no automatic deletion schedule for order, refund or paid-space entitlement records; contact us about a privacy request.
When a channel opens and you choose it, Alipay, WeChat Pay or PayPal processes payment on its own service. We send order identifiers, the product description, amount and currency, and receive transaction and refund results. The payment integration does not send room messages or uploaded files to these providers. They may collect payment, account and security information directly under their own terms and privacy notices. Our application does not store your full card number, card security code or payment password. Payment completion and refunds are verified on the server before the corresponding entitlement is granted or revoked.

When you submit a report, we store the room code, report category, description, receipt number, timestamps and review status. A one-way hash of the reporting session is used to limit duplicate reports. Reports are private to the operator. A report does not automatically copy room contents, extend their lifetime or block a room.
The operator can review content that is still available and, when necessary, retrieve a reported room's unexpired files to investigate a report. New uploads have a private file-to-room record until expiry so files can be removed after a service restart. This release does not send files to an external moderation service and does not automatically scan every message or file.
Pending reports remain until reviewed, subject to system capacity. Reviewed reports are eligible for periodic removal 90 days after review. Blocked room identifiers are retained to prevent those room codes from being reused. Room contents still follow their normal expiry; they may no longer be available during an investigation. Contact us with the report reference to ask about a report or appeal a decision.

待处理举报在系统容量范围内保留至核查；已处理举报在处理满 90 天后由定期清理流程移除。被封禁的房间标识会继续保留，防止相同房间码重新开放。房间内容仍按原来的期限到期，核查时可能已经不可用。查询处理情况或申诉时，请提供举报编号。
